The Level 2 training offered by Sarah Baribeau will allow you to integrate in a practical way the knowledge received in Level 1.

The objective of level 2 is to allow you to become completely comfortable in the management of a pregnant client, a new mother, or a client with problems related to pregnancy and childbirth.

In this course developed for kinesiologists you will learn how to progress in your training program with a client who is newly pregnant. From that moment on, it is the kinesiologists’ duty to adapt their training program to pursue the clients’ goals, while ensuring that they follow a healthy program for them and their baby.

In this course, case study learning will be emphasized in order to integrate the necessary knowledge into your practice. Case studies will be presented for each trimester of pregnancy and for each postnatal period. In addition, you will learn which exercises should be integrated into a perinatal training program for each client, from the sedentary mother to the athletic one.

You will come out of this course confident and equipped to take care of pregnant and postnatal women.

This course includes a FINAL EXAMINATION to be done online after the training. Once it is completed, you will receive your certification.

Once you have passed the exam, you will be part of the register of private trainers of Bougeotte et Placotine. A geolocation system will allow your future clients to find you no matter where you work (free for the 1st year, worth approximately $500).

By registering to the course you will receive:

  1. A Bougeotte et Placotine poster on physical activity recommendations for pregnant women.
  2. A Bougeotte et Placotine poster on physical activity recommendations for postnatal women.
  3. Evaluation tools (questionnaire)
