Teresa Waser

Teresa graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006. She has taken numerous postgraduate courses in manual therapy including certification in spinal and peripheral manipulation, McKenzie, Mulligan, and McGill methods, as well as soft tissue mobilization.  She also obtained certification in Acupuncture, and Gunn IMS from UBC.  Additionally, she has undergone training in Advanced Differential Diagnosis, Cancer Rehabilitation, Running Analysis, and much more.

Additionally, Teresa has taken specialized training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, having taken Level 1, 2 and 3 through Pelvic Health Solutions, in addition to specialized training pertaining to pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, bladder concerns, and diastasis recti from many of the leaders in the world.  She is a certified POPUp Pro for working with those with pelvic organ prolapse (POP).  Additionally, she holds certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach.

Teaching experiences:

  • Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta, Department of Physical Therapy
  • Senior Teaching Assistant for internationally acclaimed physiotherapist and educator, Antony Lo’s courses The Female Athlete Level 1 & 2 across North America and Europe,
  • She has developed and presented numerous seminars independently, covering everything from mobility, strength training, running, and pelvic health.
