Myriam Filion has 15 years of experience in a field that she herself has named kinesio-oncology. In 2014, she founded Kinergie, her own kinesiology-oncology clinic which she ran for 2 years. After acquiring expertise in clinical, entrepreneurial, hospital and community settings, Myriam implemented the “Ma Santé Active” program of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, which facilitates physical activity for women with breast cancer in Eastern Canada. In September 2020, Myriam was admitted to the Ph.D. program with the prestigious Dr. Kerry Courneya Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity and Cancer at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
